Rubber, discovered in the fifteenth century is an essential element that has allowed the creation of sneakers, which are, thanks to this material silent and adherent with the rubber sole. The first sports shoe appeared in 1868, created by the American company Candde Manufacturing in New Haven. They allow to be more comfortable and limit the perspiration of the feet with the rubber sole.
The sneakers were born in 1908 in Massachusetts with the famous "Converse" and were intended for basketball players. The Converse All-Star began its career in 1917 as a high-end basketball shoe with its original canvas and rubber makeup, which still exist today, available in a natural brown with a black border for the first color.
